The Story Behind the Expertise

Built From the Inside Out

Mark began his franchise career in 1988 with The ServiceMaster Company, building three divisions from the ground up — commercial janitorial, residential maid service, and disaster restoration. He went on to own a staffing company, a retail coffee and smoothie franchise, and six Snap Fitness locations across Michigan.

While running those businesses, he led franchise development for two of the largest maid service franchises in America. In 2001, he began consulting. In 2019, he and his daughter Holly co-founded Franchising 101 — and the IFPG recognized his career with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
